Tell Me It’s True

I was up and driving my car to Madison at 7am this morning. Admittedly, I haven’t been up and active this early since May. Along with a 16 oz. gas station coffee and The Pains of Being Pure At Heart soundtracking the ride, I eased into my day. It was the perfect mood music – not too offensive or grating on the ears but steady and fairly mellow.

I love this video for “Everything With You.” The Super 8 film gives it this classic feel.

Does anyone else think that TPOBPAH could write songs for after-school specials like this one?

  1. tpobpah are so fun to listen to in the car, in the summer – this year’s the virgins, maybe. their set at pitchfork was mildly disappointing, but that’s not to say i won’t go to see them at the high noon in a few weeks.
