Shake your groove thang.

Hey people, we’re on week 2 and our lineups just keep getting better!

This weekend, on Friday, we present Hercules and Love Affair, and Fun Cartel.  Hercules and Love Affair is an experimental band from Brooklyn, New York who’s disco-esque style kicks it old-school with a contemporary twist.  They released their last album in June of 2008 and will be sure to have you moving.  And because we  just can’t seem to get enough of them, Madison’s own Fun Cartel will be starting off the evening.

Shake up your Saturday with the Occidental Brothers Dance Band International and Atimevu.  Occidental Brothers Dance Band International is from the windy city of Chicago and plays Classic Central and West African dance music.  Singing in both English and singer Kofi Cromwell’s native tongue, Twi, this band will bring out an inner Rumba you didn’t even know you had!  Complementing the OBDBI is Atimevu.  Check it out.

enjoy,

Jaime Brackeen
