The Dear Hunter with The Gazettiers

That’s right, The Dear Hunter is hitting up Madison this weekend. Hailing from Providence, TDH has surely made their mark on the progressive rock scene. After releasing their first EP in 2007, frontman Casey Crescenzo’s band was labeled as one of Alternative Press’ “100 Bands you Need to Know in 2007.” During the summer of 2011, The Dear Hunter released their 9-EP collective entitled “The Color Spectrum,” with each EP based on a different color. The band recently finished playing two shows at Coachella, and is scheduled to play at Bamboozle in May. Also playing the Sett on Saturday night will be The Gazettiers. This indie-acoustic band from Milwaukee consists of Shane English and Jared Guess. If Maps & Atlases, Conor Oberst, and the Fleet Foxes all threw some of their awesomeness into some broth, The Gazettiers would be the tasty concoction. Check out the video for “What It Means to be Alone” below and head out to the Sett Saturday night at 9 p.m.
