Saturday night in The Sett: Huey Mack and Higher Education: Airhythmatic, Sean Smart, and DJ Melatonin

By: Hank Teran

This Saturday, WUD music will be delivering with yet, another dope show.

The Morgantown native, Huey Mack, is coming through to The Sett, Saturday at 9. Huey Mack turned heads early after dropping the mix-tape, Wish Me Luck, brought to you in part by ID Labs. Yes, the same ID Labs who handles production for both Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. The sophomore at West Virginia University picked up where he left off with his 2012 release, A Boy Named Hue. If you haven’t given it a listen, do so immediately. It will be on repeat.

Huey Mack is every bit the college rapper we’ve come to appreciate in songs like “Nights We Live For”, but drops plenty of lyricism and originality on “Just Me”. In other words, he brings a fresh new dynamic and maturity that has developed parallel to his growth as an artist. Over the last couple years, he has cemented himself as a young, up and comer, as one of the best MCs under 20.

Point being, this Saturday’s show will be wild. Huey Mack is known to bring the noise when he’s on stage, and this Saturday will be no exception. Check out the video below the jump.
