Friday Night at The Sett: Skizzy Mars w/ Higher Education Records

I’m not sure what that means, but it’s provocative. Hopefully, it will get the people going.

Skizzy Mars, known for his chill vibes and lyrical stoner rap, will be stepping onto our stage at The Sett this Friday. You don’t want to miss it.

If you haven’t heard his song “Douchebag”, you’re already missing out. Check it out here:

As if you needed more reasons to come party at The Sett this weekend, here are a few anyway:

1. He’s on the fast track to fame. He just toured with G-Eazy and his Youtube videos have millions of views. Social proof says he’s awesome.

2. This remix of The Naked and Famous is awesome:

3. His Twitter feed is a magical place.

Skizzy Mars is also playing with Higher Education, which is crew of rappers comprised founded by all UW graduates that is now based in Milwaukee.

Chances are, you’ve heard of them.

If not, here’s a good place to start

They won Madison hip hop group of the year.

The members that will be playing at this show include:
DUKE DAEO
Jermaine Event
Airo
Moses

It would be a shame to miss such a diverse sounding and technically outstanding group of local hip hop artists, not to mention the dope flow and humorous lyrics of Skizzy Mars.

The show starts at 9:00 pm Friday, November 15th in The Sett at Union South.

As always, this show is FREE. Bring friends and enjoy yourself. To check out our diverse lineup of upcoming bands, view WUD Music’s events calendar here.
