Venue Information

We have three great (and very different) venues here at UW Madison: The Sett (Union South), Der Rathskeller (Memorial Union), and The Terrace (Memorial Union)

Some things are the same for all venues, such as…

Load In, Meeting the Music Committee Rep, Sound Check

Please show up at 7pm unless other arrangements have been made. At this time, a Music Committee representative will meet you at the Sett and issue your parking permits, guest passes, and a dressing room key in exchange for some form of ID.  Additionally, they will cover contract information, show you how to load in, introduce you to the sound engineer, and answer any other venue-related questions. Sound check (reverse order, with headliners up first) will commence once you have completed load in, generally around 8pm.

State of Wisconsin/University Regulations

Merchandising – per the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, the Wisconsin Union shall receive a $15 fee (plus tax) for any merchandising in the Sett at Union South. See Item Q1 on the enclosed WUD Additional Conditions.
